Loosing focus and overview happens to all of us in the hectic of all day. More often this takes longer than desired, both for the individual as for the organisation. Continuous imbalance in effort and relaxation leads to severe fatigue that you feel physically and also mentally. Even though the signs are often not so alarming that you feel the need to find balance. Vital, focused, stable people are resilient people.
In my work as a HR professional I had a lot to do with people who experienced stress. Unfortunately, some were physically and mentally so tired they had to stop working to regain their strength. I myself have experienced a period of continuous stress. I have been able to take action before it was a real burnout. During this period I got to know my strengths and my pitfalls. It made me thinking about myself. Who am I, who do I want to be and what do I want to pay attention to? What is important to me?
The coaching program aims at developing insight into yourself and in what you think is important, so you can make choices. Choices that are good for you and which makes you feel that you are in the drivers seat of your life.
Resilient people are able to see change as opportunities and to embrace change. Stress is a common thing these days and we constantly experience pressure. We ‘need’ to do so much and we do so much, but who tells us that we need to do all that and why do we do what we do?
